Chelsea chief: Terry, Lampard not for sale
Chelsea chief Peter Kenyon insists midfielder Frank Lampard is not for sale.
Lampard has been in protracted negotiations with the Blues in an attempt to extend his present deal, which has two years left to run.
Chelsea chief executive Kenyon has moved to play down any signs of panic about Lampard's future and is adamant any bids would not be welcome. "All those players have still got two years to go on their contracts, which is important," Kenyon told Sky Sports News, with John Terry and Arjen Robben also discussing new deals.
"That's why we, and them and their advisors, take this opportunity to sit down at this moment in time.
"There is no crisis about it, it is a process in place and there has been a well-earned break.
"I will confirm we have had no offers and if we had offers we wouldn't accept them because they are a core part of our team."
