Gianluca Zambrotta: A great match
Milan full back Gianluca Zambrotta was delighted with yesterday’s win over Lazio and has singled out a number of team-mates for praise.
The Rossoneri were in something of a mini-crisis going into the clash at San Siro last night, having lost both of their opening Serie A clashes.
However Carlo Ancelotti’s men responded in the perfect manner by thrashing Lazio 4-1. Zambrotta scored Milan’s second goal with a stunning 30-yard screamer into the top corner.

"It went well because my goal came at a special moment as we had just conceded the equaliser,” said the Italy international.
“We had the opportunity to come back into the match and all ended very well with us getting the three points.
“It was a great game because we had the right will and concentration. Milan played a lot on the wings and Marek [Jankulosvski] did well to pass the ball to Pato for the goal.
“Concerning Rino Gattuso, we all know about his will, the sacrifices he makes, and his determination: we all have to take him as an example."
Gattuso was returning to the team after a recent injury, and battled valiantly in the middle-of-the-park. On Wednesday night, Milan travel to Calabria to take on second-from-bottom Reggina.
